Hours of Work: 30 hours per week, term time only plus 1 day.
Monday - Friday 8.45am - 3.15pm
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absences. You will supervise classes, deliver pre-planned lessons, and ensure students remain engaged, motivated, and on task.You’ll be a key member of our team, supporting both students and staff to promote a positive, inclusive, and orderly learning environment.Key Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons to whole classes and maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement
- Manage classroom activities and ensure a positive learning environment
- Support students’ academic progress, wellbeing, and development
- Monitor and report on student progress, behaviour, and achievements
- Assist with administrative tasks and student support when not covering lessons
- Supervise students during lessons, breaks, and school activities
- Support safeguarding, inclusion, and the wellbeing of all students
- Act as a positive role model, promoting high expectations and values within the school

- Has strong communication and organisational skills
- Can confidently manage a classroom and build positive relationships
- Is adaptable, proactive, and resilient
- Is committed to safeguarding and student wellbeing
- Has excellent spoken English (Advanced Threshold Level)
- Is eager to develop professionally and contribute to school life
