This is a great opportunity for a school or college leaver looking to take their first steps into an accounting environment. You'll be joining a small, close-knit team where no two days or weeks are exactly the same and your contribution will genuinely matter.
Full training will be provided — we're looking for the right person, not a finished one.
What we're looking for
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents)
- A head for figures and an eye for accuracy
- General knowledge of Excel or Google Software
- AAT Level 2 qualified or working towards it — desirable but not essential
- A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
What we offer

The role
As part of our small finance function, you'll get hands-on experience across a range of tasks including:
- Purchasing goods and services online and accurately recording transactions
- Processing supplier invoices onto our Xero accounting system
- Assisting with monthly bank reconciliations
- Supporting Sales invoicing, credit control and adhoc tasks
- Support/organise the shipping of products and handling returns paperwork when required
- Ad hoc tasks and general support across the department and business as needed
Who you are
You enjoy working with numbers and data, you take pride in accuracy, and you're keen to learn new systems and processes. You're comfortable in a small team environment, happy to adjust and help in other areas where needed, and can keep on top of your workload when deadlines are involved.

Pay: Up to £13.00 per hour
