Paralegal Assistant – NPS Law

Location: Solihull
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 (pa) - depending on experience

NPS Law is a forward-thinking legal practice dedicated to providing professional, practical, and client-focused legal services. As our firm continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated and organised Paralegal Assistant to join our team and provide essential support to our legal professionals.

This role is ideal for someone seeking to build a long-term career in law and gain hands-on experience across a variety of legal matters.

The Role

As a Paralegal Assistant, you will work closely with solicitors and fee earners, assisting with case management, client communications, legal administration, and document preparation. You will play an important role in ensuring matters progress efficiently while maintaining excellent client service standards.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting solicitors and legal professionals with day-to-day case management.
Opening, maintaining, and closing client files.
Drafting correspondence, legal documents, and forms.
Preparing court bundles and supporting documentation.
Conducting legal and factual research.
Managing diaries, appointments, and deadlines.
Liaising with clients, courts, estate agents, lenders, and third parties.
Handling incoming calls, emails, and enquiries professionally.
Ensuring files are maintained in accordance with regulatory and compliance requirements.
Providing general administrative support to the legal team.

RequirementsEssential

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Professional and client-focused approach.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.

Desirable

Previous experience in a law firm, legal department, or administrative role.
Law degree, LPC, SQE studies, CILEX qualification, or equivalent.
Experience using legal case management software.
Knowledge of conveyancing, family law, litigation, wills and probate, or commercial matters.
