Insurance Client Manager (Account Executive) – Corporate Risk, Birmingham

What the day will look like

Aon Corporate provides risk solutions to businesses across a wide range of sectors within the UK. Typically, clients are national or multinational organisations, where CEOs and CFOs are looking for a trusted local broker who can deliver a tailored, strategic approach.

Our clients often require bespoke insurance programmes, alongside broader risk management and risk transfer solutions. As well as acting as broker, the Corporate team provides claims support and risk management advice across multiple industries, with particular focus on real estate, public sector, food and drink, and retail and wholesale.

The Client Manager is the key contact between the client and Aon’s Commercial Insurance business, responsible for coordinating and delivering a high-quality service through specialist teams and resources.

Day to day Duties to include:

Handle the service provided to clients by Aon Commercial Insurance and third-party providers.
Ensure the highest level of service to each assigned client, aligned to agreed client service tools.
Identify opportunities to introduce Aon’s broader products and services to meet client needs.
Understand and communicate each client’s business challenges to internal teams.
Drive revenue growth and profitability across your client portfolio, including meeting annual targets.
Work in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework and ensure compliance with all policies, including participation in mandatory risk and compliance training.

You’ll be supported by a collaborative and committed leadership team that is invested in your success and ongoing development.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

Experience within the commercial corporate insurance market, with strong client relationship management capability.
Exposure to handling complex corporate risks (global exposure desirable)
Strong commercial acumen, with understanding of market dynamics, competitors and business drivers.
Shown capability in sales, fee negotiation and influencing.
Confident communicator and presenter.
Client-focused, with a consultative approach and commitment to delivering excellent service.
