Job Summary

Role Purpose:
The Mobile Security Patrol Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of designated premises by conducting regular and random patrols, monitoring for potential security breaches, and responding promptly to incidents. The role involves maintaining clear communication with the National Operations Centre, completing detailed reports, and adhering to all company and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct scheduled and random patrols of assigned sites, both indoors and outdoors (Where appropriate and as designated within the Site Instructions).
Monitor for and identify suspicious activities or security breaches, responding promptly in accordance with established procedures.
Maintain accurate, timely records of all patrol activities and incident reports.
Ensure the proper use and care of all issued security equipment, including communication devices and keys.
Liaise with the National Operations Centre and other team members to coordinate responses to incidents or emergencies.

· Comply with health and safety regulations, ensuring personal safety and that of others on site.

· Report any equipment malfunctions or hazards immediately to supervisors.

· Collaborate with local law enforcement as needed during investigations or emergencies.

· Adhere to all elements of the Road Traffic Act whilst using company vehicles.

· Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their concerns.

Comply with and Enforce company policies and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanour at all times.

Skills and Competencies:

Excellent observational and situational awareness skills.
Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Ability to work independently as a Lone Worker, while following strict operational procedures.
Proficiency in using security monitoring technology and digital reporting systems.
Physical fitness to manage prolonged periods of patrol, often in varying weather conditions.
Familiarity with emergency response protocols and basic first aid (desirable).
Customer liaison skills with client and other team members.

Qualifications and Experience:

Previous experience in loss prevention or security is highly desirable.

· Certification in first aid or CPR is a plus.

· Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance techniques is advantageous.

· Strong observational skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required for effective reporting and interaction with the public.

· A valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) Manned Guarding licence is required.

· A valid full UK Manual driving license with no penalty points

· Previous experience in a security or patrol role is preferred.

· Five-year checkable work history

· Proven ability to manage emergency situations and prepare detailed incident reports.

Basic IT literacy for operating digital reporting tools.

Working Conditions:

Shifts will include evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays, with a standard up to 12‑hour shift structure.
The role requires working in both outdoor and indoor environments, under a variety of weather conditions.
Must be able to work independently and effectively as part of a team.

Pay: £12.71-£15.41 per hour
