Videographer & Social Media Content CreatorOverview

We are seeking a creative, personable and enthusiastic Videographer & Social Media Content Creator to join the team at Hudson's Core Fitness (HCF) in Solihull.

HCF is a growing group fitness community helping everyday people become fitter, healthier and more confident. We are looking for someone who can help us showcase what makes our gym and community special through engaging video, photography and social media content.

This is a part-time, self-employed role of approximately 7–12 hours per week, with flexibility around working hours.

The role would be ideal for a student, aspiring content creator, videographer or someone looking to build their portfolio while working within a fun and active environment.

Responsibilities

Film engaging content during HCF training sessions, events and around the gym.
Film client testimonials, success stories and member experiences.
Work with trainers and clients to generate new content ideas and capture authentic moments.
Edit short-form video content for platforms including Instagram and Facebook.
Create Reels, promotional videos, client transformation content and social media posts.
Schedule and publish content across our social media platforms.
Help create video and photo content for paid advertising campaigns.
Take and organise client progress photos and before-and-after content where appropriate.
Liaise with trainers to plan upcoming filming opportunities and content.
Keep up to date with social media trends, Reels and content styles that could work for HCF.
Help us showcase the personality, community and results of Hudson's Core Fitness.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience filming and editing video content is highly desirable.
Comfortable using video editing software such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro or similar.
Good understanding of Instagram, Facebook and short-form social media content.
A good eye for creating engaging and visually appealing content.
Creative flair and willingness to suggest and experiment with new ideas.
Confident and personable when working with trainers and gym members.
Good communication and organisational skills.
Comfortable approaching clients and helping them feel relaxed when being filmed.
An interest in fitness, health or social media would be beneficial but is not essential.
Able to work independently and manage content from filming through to final post.

We are more interested in finding someone with creativity, personality and a willingness to learn than somebody with years of professional experience.

If you already create content yourself, run social media pages, study media/marketing at college or university, or are looking to build a portfolio in videography and content creation, we would love to hear from you.

Hours & Pay

7–12 hours per week

£12.71–£15.00 per hour, depending on experience

Hours are flexible, although some filming will need to take place during scheduled HCF training sessions. These include a mixture of early mornings, daytime, evenings and occasional weekends.

Specific filming and working times will be agreed during the interview.
