Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled CPCS 360 Driver with Lifting Ops and GPS experience to join our team in Coventry. In this role, you will operate a Certified Plant & Construction Safety (CPCS) 360-degree excavator to facilitate various earthmoving and construction tasks. Your expertise in mechanical systems, excavator operation, and commercial driving will be essential in ensuring efficient project progress and maintaining safety standards on site. Responsibilities
- Operate CPCS-certified 360-degree excavators with precision and safety, adhering to all site protocols
- Perform routine inspections of machinery, ensuring mechanical components are functioning correctly and reporting any issues promptly
- Assist with site preparation, including digging, lifting, and moving materials as directed by project supervisors
- Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, maintenance schedules, and operational activities
- Support other construction activities by providing reliable mechanical operation and troubleshooting equipment problems
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to protect yourself, colleagues, and the surrounding environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of project milestones
Must have
- Proven experience operating CPCS-certified 360 excavators in a construction setting
- Strong GPS knowledge of excavator systems and basic maintenance procedures
- Valid CPCS card or equivalent certification demonstrating competency in plant operation
- Lifting Ops on CPCS
- Fit To Work MEdical
- Familiarity with site safety protocols and ability to work effectively within a team environment
