About Us
Springfield Medical Practice is a well-established GP practice in the north of Coventry. We care for 7,200 patients. We are an established training practice, with six GP Partners, two salaried GPs, 2 practice nurses, HCA and Phlebotomist, two clinical pharmacists and a social prescriber team and physiotherapist. We work from a purpose-built, high-quality premises with on-site parking.
We are proud of the professional, cohesive team we have built, including an excellent reception and administrative team. Our aim is to deliver the highest standard of care while treating every patient with dignity, respect and courtesy.
We are an EMIS practice, rated Good by the CQC, and a high QOF-achieving practice. We are members of the Coventry North Primary Care Network (PCN), working collaboratively with neighbouring practices to improve care for our local population.
We are recruiting for this role following the sad and unexpected death of our previous Practice Manager, who transformed our team over eight years of dedicated service. We are looking for someone who can build on that legacy and help shape the next chapter of the practice during this delicate transition.

As Practice Manager, you will ensure the vision and values of Springfield Medical Practice are realised through effective and efficient management of our team and resources. You will lead on the strategic direction of the practice as well as its day-to-day operational, financial and human resource management, working closely with the Partners to achieve their objectives.
We are looking for a self-starting individual who thrives with creative responsibility — someone with strong strategic planning skills, proven experience of leading a team, and a track record in business development. This experience doesn't necessarily need to come from healthcare; strong transferable skills from other sectors are equally welcome.
This is a full-time role which will be within our core opening hours of 8am–6.30pm, with flexibility required. We undertake extended access with within our PCN. We know flexibility works both ways, and this will be reciprocated.
