Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support: Provide first-line and second-line IT support through email, phone, remote access, and in-person assistance. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and system issues.
Hardware Management: Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.
Software Support: Support Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 applications, business software, and user access requirements.
User Administration: Manage user accounts, permissions, password resets, and access requests while following security procedures.
Network Troubleshooting: Assist with connectivity issues, Wi-Fi problems, basic networking tasks, and IT infrastructure support.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of technical issues, solutions, processes, and support activities.
IT Improvement Projects: Support system upgrades, technology improvements, and ongoing IT initiatives.
Customer Service: Provide professional, friendly, and efficient support to ensure users receive a positive IT experience.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience: Previous experience in an IT Support Technician, Help Desk Technician, Service Desk Analyst, Desktop Support Technician, or similar technical support role.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of computer hardware, Windows operating systems, software troubleshooting, Microsoft 365, and general IT support principles.
Problem Solving: Ability to investigate technical issues, identify solutions, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical users.
Communication Skills: Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical information in a simple and professional way.
Organisation: Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple support requests and prioritise tasks effectively.
Certifications: IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft certifications, or equivalent experience are desirable.
Mindset: You are proactive, dependable, and enjoy learning new technologies while delivering reliable support.
Pay: £28,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
