This is an excellent opportunity for a part or newly qualified accountant looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive, collaborative finance team.
Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, you ll join a close-knit Financial Reporting team. You ll gain exposure to a broad range of financial accounting activities while working alongside experienced colleagues who are committed to your development.
You ll play a key role in delivering timely and accurate financial reporting, supporting month-end close, statutory accounts and year-end audit activities. You ll also lead on Repairs & Maintenance cost analysis, complete balance sheet reconciliations and work with colleagues across the business to ensure financial information supports effective decision making.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You ll have the opportunity to improve processes, build relationships across the organisation and develop your technical accounting skills in a large, complex business.
We re looking for someone who already has a solid grounding in finance and is keen to continue developing their career.
You ll ideally have:
- At least three years experience working within a finance or financial accounting environment.
- Experience supporting or completing month-end processes and financial reporting.
- Be studying towards an ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent professional qualification (or newly qualified).
- Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
- The confidence to build relationships with colleagues across the business and explain financial information clearly.
Experience within the housing sector would be an advantage, but it isn t essential. We re equally interested in candidates from other sectors who have strong financial accounting experience and are looking to broaden their expertise.
