Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Junior Bank Teller and kickstart your career in the financial services industry! In this energetic role, you will be the friendly face of our bank, providing exceptional customer service while handling daily banking transactions. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help ensure smooth operations and positive customer experiences.

Responsibilities

Assist customers with routine banking transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and account inquiries
Verify customer identities and ensure compliance with security procedures
Maintain accurate records of all transactions and balance cash drawers at the end of each shift
Promote bank products and services to meet customer needs and enhance their financial well-being
Answer customer questions clearly and professionally, providing helpful guidance on banking processes
Follow all security protocols to safeguard cash, confidential information, and bank assets
Support team members during busy periods by managing queues and ensuring efficient service flow

Experience

Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
Previous experience in financial services or customer service is a plus but not required; training will be provided
Strong communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Willingness to learn about banking products, services, and security procedures

Pay: £29,000.00 per year
