Full Time Delivery driver/drivers mate

We have a great opportunity for a Full Time Delivery Driver/Drivers mate to join the team at The Bed Shop Group to provide exceptional service to our customers. If you bring great customer service and team working skills to the table, we will give you everything you need to succeed.

Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Receiving, storing and loading of customer specific orders and stock, into the delivery units ready for the day’s deliveries.
- Ensuring the right stock is picked from the correct location for customer orders, minimising errors.
- Doing stock counts, safety checks, processing returned goods as required.
- Ensuring all handling, Health and Safety procedures and operating standards are maintained in line with company policies.
- Being part of a great customer service delivery operation.
- Assisting with stock maintenance in the branch.

Who we are looking for to join our team:
- As a Delivery Driver/Drivers mate you’ll be the face of our company, ensuring that products arrive safely, efficiently and in excellent condition.
- Previous manual handling experience and delivery experience or would be advantageous but not essential, as full training will be given to the right candidate.
- Previous experience of warehouse management systems would be beneficial.
- Valid driving licence.
- Ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy customer products - mattresses, bed frames and bedroom furniture as a two-person team.
- Understands the importance of their role in home delivery and its contribution to the wider customer experience.
- Understands the importance of an effective warehousing operation to the wider customer experience
- Self-motivated, disciplined & positively contributes to the team, creating a ‘great place to work’
- Desire to deliver on our promises to our customers
- Approachable, possessing an open and friendly personality - happy to help both customers and colleagues
- Enjoys working and supporting a team, but can always be relied upon to work as an individual
- Willing to attend training as required
- Keen to learn, develop skills, and progress within our company
