Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and self-motivated Hairdresser to operate as a self-employed professional within our salon. This role offers the flexibility to manage your own client base while providing high-quality hairdressing services. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a flair for styling, and the ability to deliver exceptional customer service. Experience in store management, barbering, colour services will be advantageous. As a self-employed professional, you will be responsible for maintaining your own schedule and ensuring client satisfaction, all within a professional and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a wide range of hairdressing services including cutting, colouring, styling, and specialised treatments
- Manage your own appointments and client bookings efficiently
- Upsell products and services to enhance client experience and maximise revenue opportunities
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in your work area in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Offer personalised consultations to understand client needs and recommend suitable treatments
- Foster strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and communication skills
- Support the front desk team by providing professional advice and assistance when needed
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Hairdresser with relevant qualifications recognised within the industry
- Skills in store management, barbering
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
- Ability to upsell products and services effectively whilst maintaining professionalism
- Organised with the ability to manage appointments independently
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to building your clientele
- Must be fully qualified with valid certification recognised within the UK hair industry
- Ability to work flexibly according to client demand and salon hours
