Pay: £13.90 per hour
As well as veg, our website offers an outstanding range of organic meat, which is processed, packaged and delivered to us by our own local butchery. When a customer order is placed, it gets sent to the meat packing team, who make sure that our customers receive a complete, presentable box packed with all the tasty things they've chosen.
As a team member in this area, you will pick and pack both meat and recipe box orders, using our pick-by-light system. You will be working in a chilled environment of 2 degrees, so, although the correct PPE will be provided, you do need to be comfortable working in the cold.
- Ideally you will have previous experience of working in a production or warehousing environment
- Must be comfortable working in a cold environment
- You must be able to lift and manoeuvre crates of produce and veg boxes
- You should have good communication skills and be able to speak and understand English to a level that enables you to comprehend instructions and the daily requirements of the role
