About us
Solent Studios is a growing vintage clothing reseller specialising in Carhartt, Levi's and mixed vintage clothing. We sell live on Whatnot to a loyal and growing UK audience, and we're scaling up — that's where you come in.
The role
We're looking for an energetic, confident Live Streamer to host our Whatnot shows. You'll be the face and voice of our stream: presenting stock, running auctions, engaging the live audience and driving sales in real time. If you love vintage fashion, thrive on camera and know how to keep a room buzzing, we want to hear from you.
What you'll be doing
- Hosting live Whatnot streams (auctions, giveaways, buy-it-nows)
- Presenting and describing stock — brands, sizing, condition, styling
- Building energy and rapport with viewers to keep them watching and bidding
- Encouraging follows, repeat buyers and giveaway participation
- Keeping the show flowing at pace and hitting sales targets
- Basic prep: organising items before going live and helping keep listings accurate
What we're looking for
- Confident, upbeat and natural on camera
- Great communicator who can hold attention and think on their feet
- Genuine interest in vintage clothing / streetwear (Carhartt, Levi's, workwear a big plus)
- Reliable and punctual — streams run to a schedule
- Sales-minded and target-driven
- Whatnot, live selling, or content creation experience is a bonus but not essential — attitude and energy matter most
What we offer
- £13–15 per hour, depending on experience
- Monday to Friday, one live stream per day (typically 2–4 hours per stream)
- Starting on a paid trial basis, with a view to increasing hours as we grow
- A fun, fast-growing business with room to progress as we scale
- Full training on our stock and Whatnot systems
Location
Our current setup is based in the Southampton area. As we grow we'll be opening a dedicated second stream location, so the exact base is to be confirmed — we'll discuss this with you at interview.
