Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker to join our team in providing a food and drinks service to our members at Erskine Golf Club. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. This role offers an opportunity to develop culinary and customer service skills while working in a fast-paced setting with a smaller close knit team. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant operations is advantageous, but training will be provided for the right candidate.

Duties

Serve food and beverages in accordance with established standards and procedures
Help to maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations
Serve guests efficiently, providing friendly and professional guest services
Manage order accuracy, process transactions, and handle cash or card payments accurately
Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and maximise sales opportunities
Ensure all health and safety protocols are followed diligently
Support the team during busy periods by assisting with additional tasks as needed

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential as training will be provided
Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food handling techniques is advantageous but not essential
Experience with serving guests in a fast-paced environment helps ensure smooth operations
Familiarity with kitchen procedures, culinary practices, or food presentation can be beneficial, but again not essential
Strong organisational skills with effective time management abilities are essential for handling multiple tasks efficiently
Ability to work well within a team while maintaining a positive attitude and excellent guest service skills

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.75 per hour
