Full job description

Are you an experienced administrator seeking a role in mental health?

A part time vacancy has arisen for 19.5 hours per week (Fixed Term for 1 Year) to provide administration support to the teams within the Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service based at Temple House, Keynsham.

This important role involves typing letters and reports to referrers and clients, and keeping records up to date on the patient database. The post holder will work in our busy reception, including answering the phone, and have contact with service users, parent(s)/carer(s) and professionals.

To provide an efficient and effective comprehensive administrative support to the team/service.

Provide a polite and efficient reception service to patients and visitors.

To accurately type and distribute letters and other documents as required.

Arrange and provide admin support for meetings including minute/note taking.

To respond to email, telephone enquiries and written enquiries using a high level of initiative and responding in a confidential and sensitive way and action in the appropriate way.

To update patient records as required and ensure that the Trust’s databases are up to date and all clinical data is entered appropriately.

Record and pay patient travel expenses when appropriate according to Trust policies.
