Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Auto Body Technician to join our busy bodyshop team. The role involves repairing, preparing, and refinishing vehicles to a high standard, including paintwork and body repairs. You will play an important part in delivering quality workmanship and excellent customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Assess vehicle damage and identify required repairs.
- Remove and replace damaged panels and vehicle components.
- Carry out body repairs, filling, sanding, and preparation work.
- Prepare vehicles for painting and refinishing.
- Perform spray painting and finishing work to a high standard.
- Ensure all repairs meet quality and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace.
- Work efficiently with the workshop team to complete jobs on time.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in an auto bodyshop or vehicle repair environment.
- Experience with vehicle painting, prep work, and body repairs.
- Good mechanical knowledge and attention to detail.
- Skilled in using hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a good work ethic.
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks when required.
