An opportunity has arisen for a People Services & Payroll Coordinator to join the People department.

About the role

Provide support to the payroll team to manage all pay related activities received from the business. Ensure the relevant actions are processed accurately and within monthly deadlines. Assist in additional wider support and guidance to the business in delivering an efficient, consistent, and streamlined service across all employee lifecycle events.

What you will do

Provide high-quality People Services support across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contractual changes, promotions, and offboarding, ensuring all activities are completed accurately and within agreed service levels.
Process and monitor employee lifecycle transactions within SuccessFactors, maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring data integrity, compliance, and timely completion of workflows.
Act as the first point of contact for employees and managers, providing advice and guidance on People Services processes, payroll administration, and employee lifecycle matters, escalating complex issues where appropriate.
Monitor and manage the People Services and Payroll shared inboxes, responding to enquiries and allocating work within agreed service levels.
Support the administration of employee benefits, ensuring changes are accurately maintained within HR systems and communicated to the managed payroll provider where required.
Maintain a sound understanding of payroll legislation, policies, and payroll processes to ensure the accuracy of employee data and payroll-related transactions.
Prepare and provide payroll input, manual reports, and supporting documentation to the managed payroll provider (EY) in line with agreed payroll deadlines.
Review payroll reports, exception reports, and data validation reports, investigating discrepancies and working with EY and internal stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
Support monthly payroll governance activities, including reconciliation of employee changes, payroll reporting, compliance, and audit requirements.
Work collaboratively with EY and internal stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of payroll services, supporting continuous improvement and the effective operation of the SuccessFactors payroll interface.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of People Services and payroll processes, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, data quality, and the employee experience.
Undertake ad hoc People Services and payroll-related projects and other duties as required.

About you

Highly organised and self-motivated. Able to manage numerous activities and a high workload to meet regular deadlines such as payroll.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal along with a can-do attitude and a willingness to see activities through to completion.
Attention to detail and a high level of data accuracy is essential due to the nature of activities and their impact on the workforce, systems and overall employee experience.
Level 3 CIPD qualification or above is preferred. Experience working with a payroll team would be an advantage.
Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, in particular Excel, Word and Outlook is essential. Knowledge of Success Factors/SAP would be an advantage.
A high degree of personal integrity and the ability to remain ethically professional is essential as the role involves access to confidential data where protection and discretion are paramount.
