Job Role: Leisure Attendant

Grade: SCP 2LWR - £23,858 per annum

Hours: 36 hours per week

Employment Type: Permanent

Location: Various Sites

Help deliver a safe, clean and welcoming leisure environment.
Support daily activities, events and customer experiences.
Prepare facilities and equipment for a wide range of activities.
Promote high standards of health, safety and presentation.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Essential

Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work independently and use initiative.
Ability to undertake manual handling tasks.
Flexible approach to working across multiple sites, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Ability to remain calm and respond appropriately in emergency situations.

Desirable

Previous leisure centre experience.
Reception/customer service experience.
Food Hygiene qualification.
Pool Plant Operator qualification.
Experience of cash handling and booking systems.
Experience setting up sports equipment and events.
Knowledge of health and safety within a leisure environment.

QUALIFICATIONS/CREDENTIALS

Essential

RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ), or willingness to obtain within an agreed timescale.
Emergency First Aid at Work qualification, or willingness to obtain.
Satisfactory Enhanced DBS check.

Desirable

Level 3 Food Safety qualification or willingness to obtain.
Manual Handling training or willingness to obtain.
Customer Service qualification or willingness to obtain.
