This is an exciting opportunity to join Change Grow Live as part of a new service in Blackpool, supporting individuals and communities affected by substance use.

As we begin this new chapter in Blackpool, we are looking for two Recovery Coordinators to help shape a service that is compassionate, innovative, and rooted in the needs of the local community.
This is more than a Recovery Coordinator role. It is an opportunity to be part of building a new service from the beginning — helping to create positive pathways for recovery, strengthen local partnerships, and make a lasting impact for the people we support.
As a Recovery Coordinator, you will work directly with people affected by substance use, you will support people throughout their treatment and recovery journey, providing person-centred interventions that promote recovery, resilience, and independence.
We are looking for people who are compassionate, motivated, and committed to supporting recovery.
You will ideally have:

Experience working within substance misuse, mental health, health, social care, or related services

A good understanding of recovery and harm reduction approaches

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

The ability to manage competing priorities within a busy service

Good IT and organisational skills

A collaborative and flexible approach to team working
Most importantly, you will share our belief that recovery is possible for everyone.
Responsibilities:
You will support people throughout their treatment and recovery journey, providing person-centred interventions that promote recovery, resilience, and independence.
The role will include:

Managing a caseload of service users

Completing assessments, recovery plans, and onward referrals

Delivering harm reduction and recovery-focused interventions

Supporting people to improve wellbeing and social inclusion

Facilitating group work and structured support sessions

Working collaboratively with partner agencies and multidisciplinary teams

Promoting long-term recovery and positive outcomes
