Job Overview
We are seeking an Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing project costs, preparing accurate estimates, and supporting the organisation in delivering competitive quotes. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our company's growth by ensuring precise cost control and effective project planning. The ideal applicant will possess strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and experience in the flooring industry.

Duties

Collaborate with project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather accurate pricing information.
Develop detailed budgets for projects, including labour, materials, and equipment.
Identify potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
Maintain organised records of estimates, assumptions, and pricing data for future reference.
Support the sales team during client presentations by providing clear cost breakdowns and justifications.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a flooring Estimator.
Strong understanding of cost control principles and budgeting techniques.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
