Location: Greenwood MOT Test Centre, Greenwood Avenue, Blackpool, FY3

Working Hours: Hours to suit

Job Type: Hours to suit indiviual Full or Part time - we work around you

Join Our Team

Greenwood MOT Test Centre is looking for an experienced and qualified MOT tester to join our long-established MOT-only testing centre.

This is a rare opportunity to join our team, as vacancies seldom arise due to our excellent staff retention.

If you're looking for a role where you can focus solely on MOT testing without being expected to carry out servicing, repairs or other mechanical work, this is the position for you.

The Role

This is a dedicated MOT pit testing position. Your responsibilities will include:

Carrying out Class 4 and 7 MOT tests in accordance with DVSA standards.
Ensuring vehicles meet all legal roadworthiness and safety requirements.
Completing MOT inspections accurately and efficiently.
Maintaining accurate testing records.
Following all DVSA procedures and health & safety requirements.

This is a testing-only role – no servicing, repairs, diagnostics or other mechanical duties.

What We're Looking ForEssential

Valid DVSA Nominated Tester (NT) qualification.
Previous experience as an MOT Pit Tester.
Excellent attention to detail.
Professional and reliable approach to work.
Ability to work independently.

Higher rates available for highly experienced MOT Pit Testers.
Monday to Friday working only / Hours to suit full or part-time available
No weekend working.
Dedicated testing role with no mechanical work.
