Laboratory Technician – Microbiology

An opportunity to start or develop your career in laboratory science

Are you interested in science and looking for an opportunity to develop a career in microbiology?

Previous laboratory experience or formal scientific qualifications are not essential – full training and ongoing support will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

Perform microbiological testing on a range of samples following established procedures.
Accurately record laboratory data using a LIMS.
Follow laboratory quality and safety procedures.
Support sample checking, storage and quality control.
Calibrate, clean and maintain laboratory equipment.
Assist with laboratory projects and the development of testing methods.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a safe, clean and organised laboratory.
