Full job description

So, what will I be doing?

Join a team that helps create the foundation of everything we do. At Yeo Valley, we’re proud of our world-class products and the people who make them. Right now, we’re looking for a hands-on, reliable Skilled Operator to join our Production Team at our Blagdon facility.

As a key player in the production process, you’ll be responsible for the accurate preparation and packing of our product– the critical base of our product line. Your role will involve operating mixing equipment, monitoring quality standards, maintaining hygiene protocols, and ensuring efficient, on-time supply to downstream production.

What You'll Do

Operate and maintain milk mixing systems and associated equipment
Accurately follow mixing recipes and production schedules
Conduct routine quality checks and maintain batch records
Collaborate with production and QA teams to ensure consistency and compliance
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Assist with inventory, stock rotation, and general plant support

Sounds interesting, what do I need?

Essential:

Good team working skills
Able to undertake manual tasks
Attention to detail
Effective communication
Relevant work experience as a machine Operator in a production environment

Desirable:

Basic Food hygiene
Knowledge of HACCP
Engineering skillset
