Contract Rate £23.50 ph

Overtime Rate £25.85 to £35.25 ph

Joining Bonus of £1,000 pro rata

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will positively support the Manager in providing leadership to the care staff within Muirton House Care Home, maintain skills at a current level and undertake such training and development as may from time-to-time be required to maintain that currency of practice and manage the service in accordance with standards agreed with the Registered Manager, Registered Provider, legislative requirements, relevant regulations, in line with accepted best practice and within the financial plans agreed from time-to-time with the Registered Provider.

Duties

Ensure Residents are at the heart of the care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing.

Undertake the Personal Planning activities for Residents to meet changing physical, psychological and social needs, taking into consideration privacy, dignity, personal choice and informed consent.

Ensure Personal Plans are developed in collaboration with Residents, their family and friends (where appropriate) and members of the multi-disciplinary team.

Undertake all aspects of medicine management in line with legal, professional and regulatory requirements.

Be responsible for promoting and protecting the welfare of those individuals supported.

Qualifications

Valid registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
Proven experience within a care home environment
Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate resident support.
Organised with attention to detail, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to protocols.

Job Types: Part-time 22hrs
