Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly adaptable and highly skilled Hands on Working Foreperson to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidaten will be responsible for leading the team from the front, managing day-to-day site operations, while remaining fully hands-on with our tools ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standards.
If you have a strong trade background, a keen eye for quality and enjoy motivating a team rather than just standing on the sidelines, then this role is for you!

Duties

Work on the tools as required, to ensure each projects progress with a high quality finish.
Manage, supervise and work directly with employed staff and subcontractors on site.
Interpret drawings, ensure work meets building regulations and drive the site program to hit deadlines.
Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations and project standards.
Maintaining a clean and organised work area throughout the job process.

Requirements

Minimum of 3+ years experience in a supervisory or foreperson role within Construction.
Solid time-served trade background (e.g. carpentry, bricklaying, plastering or multi-trade).
Experience operating power tools safely in a construction environment.
Ability to read technical drawings and follow detailed instructions accurately.
Full UK driving license (essential for travelling to various sites within the Cardiff area).
