Overview

Join our family run business (started in 2014) as a Sound, LED, and Light Technician, where your creativity and technical expertise will bring events, performances, and productions to life! In this energetic role, you will help with setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining sound systems, LED displays, and lighting equipment to ensure seamless execution of live events. Your passion for audiovisual technology will help create immersive experiences that captivate audiences and elevate productions to new heights. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge equipment in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence. Free food and drinks will be provided always.

Duties

Set up and operate sound systems, LED screens, and lighting fixtures for live events, concerts, and performances
Troubleshoot technical issues promptly during events to minimize disruptions
Collaborate with production teams to design lighting and visual effects that enhance the overall experience
Maintain and calibrate audiovisual equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance
Assist in the installation of LED displays and lighting setups at various venues or locations
Manage on-site equipment inventory and ensure all gear is properly stored and maintained after use- to always handle all equipment with the utmost care.
Support post-event editing of visual content using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro- would be an advantage.
ALL OF THE ABOVE DUTIES ARE FULLY SUPPORTED BY THE TEAM DIRECTOR AND TEAM, SO THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE/S WILL NEVER BE EXPECTED TO DO THINGS ALONE.

Requirements

Proven experience with sound engineering, lighting design, or AV technology in live event settings
Strong knowledge of audio systems, LED display technology, and stage lighting techniques
Ability to quickly troubleshoot technical issues during live events with minimal supervision
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with Director, team and clients effectively
Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions. Join us if you’re passionate about delivering spectacular audiovisual experiences!
