Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Chartered Accountant to join our professional team working in house. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing strategic financial advice. This role offers an excellent opportunity for career development within a dynamic organisation that values expertise and integrity. The ideal applicant will possess strong knowledge of Xero accounting software and financial management practices, with a focus on delivering accurate and timely financial information to support business decision-making.

Responsibilities

Prepare, examine, and analyse financial statements in accordance with recognised accounting standards.
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently using accounting software Xero.
Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities to ensure organisational financial health.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies through meticulous record-keeping and documentation.
Assist in the optimisation of financial processes and systems to improve operational efficiency.
Collaborate with external auditors during audits and facilitate the resolution of any discrepancies or issues identified.
Support management in strategic planning by providing insightful financial analysis and recommendations.

Skills

Proven expertise in financial accounting, with a recognised qualification as a Chartered Accountant.
Extensive experience working with Xero accounting software
Strong understanding of financial services regulations and compliance standards.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Proficiency in managing accounts payable processes and overall financial management tasks.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all financial reporting activities. This position offers a challenging yet rewarding environment for professionals committed to excellence in financial management and accounting practices.

Knowledge of contruction industries would be an advantage

Pay: Up to £40,000.00 per year
