Accounts Receivable Clerk

Location: M22 0RR
Hours: Part-time, minimum 3 days per week in the office
Salary: £26,000–£28,000 FTE, depending on experience, plus bonuses.

Join Our Growing Finance Team

Wellness International Ltd. is looking for an organised, reliable and detail-focused Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our growing finance team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, takes pride in getting things right and wants to play an important role within a busy and supportive finance function.

As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate customer accounts, raising invoices, allocating payments and supporting the day-to-day management of our sales ledger. You will also assist with routine credit control and customer queries, helping us maintain strong relationships with our clients and healthy cash flow.

Your responsibilities will include:

Raising and issuing accurate sales invoices to customers.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date sales ledger records.
Allocating and matching customer payments against invoices and accounts.
Monitoring outstanding customer balances and carrying out routine credit control.
Following up outstanding invoices professionally and courteously.
Responding to customer queries relating to invoices and payments.
Maintaining organised electronic financial records.
Updating customer account information as required.
Assisting with reconciliations and general accounts receivable administration.
Supporting the wider finance team with other tasks when required.

We're looking for someone who is organised, accurate and dependable, with a positive approach to their work.

Ideally you will have:

Previous experience in accounts receivable, sales ledger, credit control, finance administration or a similar role.
Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work.
Confidence working with numbers and financial information.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Experience using accounting or finance systems.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
A professional and courteous approach when dealing with customers.
The ability to manage your own workload, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
A willingness to learn and support colleagues across the wider finance team.
