Full job description

We are excited to offer this opportunity for a qualified Occupational Therapist to join the multidisciplinary ream supporting neurodiverse children , young people and families within Manchester .

This is a development post in which the entry grade is a Band 5 which will then be progressed to a Band 6 following successful completion of a set of competencies .

The post holder will support an needs led offer of care and offer Occupational Therapy assessment , brief interventions and consultations.

This will involve facilitating training in order to empower parents and carers in addition to drop in sessions and some bespoke interventions.

They will join a well established Occupational Therapy team who will provide both mentorship and clinical supervision.

Offer Occupational therapy assessments

Offer Occupational Therapy Interventions including training and workshops

Contribute to Neurodevelopmental assessments

Contribute to service development

This is post which will provide developmental opportunities supporting both in house and eternal training in order to equip the post holder with specialist clinical skill.
