As a Security Officer, you will be at the forefront of creating a safe and secure environment, protecting our client's people, property, and assets through professional and proactive security services.
Based at our client's site, you will act as a visible security presence and the first point of response to incidents, helping to ensure the safety and security of employees, visitors, contractors, and members of the public at all times.
Security Officers must be physically fit, smart in appearance, and able to communicate clearly and courteously with a wide range of people.
The Role
- Patrol internal and external areas, maintaining a visible security presence.
- Respond promptly to incidents and act as a first-line response in emergency situations.
- Monitor site access and prevent unauthorised entry.
- Investigate and report suspicious activity, security breaches, and safety concerns.
- Provide assistance and support to employees, visitors, contractors, and members of the public.
- Conduct routine site checks and ensure all security procedures are followed.
- Complete accurate incident reports and maintain site records.
- Deal with all visitors in a professional, polite, and courteous manner.
About You
- Previous security experience.
- A valid front-line SIA Security Guarding or Door Supervision licence.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Professional appearance with a confident and approachable manner.
- Good observation skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic IT skills and experience completing reports and records.
