The Trustees of Northern Schools Trust wish to appoint a resourceful and skilled Director of Facilities to be responsible for the overall management of the Trust sites and the maintaining of facilities and catering services to ensure a high-quality environment that supports teaching and learning.
We are looking for an outstanding individual, who will be a dynamic and process-driven character able to identify problems and provide structured solutions. The ability to inspire others, communicate well at all levels and think flexibly are essential, as are a developed understanding of both environmental matters and procurement.
To be considered for this role, you will need property management and project management experience.
You will be expected to travel regularly between sites to manage ongoing projects, troubleshoot issues and provide support to the local Facilities teams.
The Northern Schools Trust is a charitable organisation that works specifically in areas of social and economic deprivation to transform the lives of children and young people through education.
We support schools with relieving the burden of some administrative, governance, marketing and finance matters in order to free up schools’ time and resources to concentrate on what they do best: getting results for their students.
There are currently eight schools operating under the umbrella of the Trust; North Liverpool Academy, Liverpool Life Sciences UTC, The Studio Liverpool, Gateacre School, Four Oaks Primary School, Thomas Gray Primary School, New Park Primary School and Roscoe Primary School.
