Pub Gardener/Groundskeeper – Ring O’ Bells, West Kirby, CH48 7HE
Employment: Part Time (3 days per week)

With the recent opening of The Pavilion at the Ring O' Bells, we're looking for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic gardener to join the team and take responsibility for maintaining and developing the pub's gardens and outdoor areas.
About the Role:
This is a part-time position, working approximately 24 hours per week, with flexibility to work over 3 or 4 days, depending on your availability and the seasonal workload. Morning working is generally preferred, to allow work to be completed before the pub gets too busy.
You'll take ownership of keeping the gardens looking their very best all year round, working independently while also collaborating with the Pub Manager to continually enhance the outdoor spaces.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Maintaining lawns, borders, flower beds, shrubs and trees
- Hedge cutting, pruning and seasonal grounds maintenance
- Lawn care and treatment
- Carrying out minor landscaping projects
- Helping to evolve and improve the gardens over time
- Ensuring the outdoor areas remain welcoming, safe and beautifully presented throughout the year
About You:
We're looking for someone who:
- Has strong horticultural knowledge and a genuine passion for gardens
- Has proven experience in grounds maintenance and garden care
- Is confident working independently and managing their own workload
- Takes pride in high standards and attention to detail
- Enjoys creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces
PA1 and PA6 pesticide licences would be an advantage, although they're not essential.
