Join Our Friendly Community Pharmacy Team

Ryders Chemist is a well-established independent community pharmacy serving the local Formby community. We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused Pharmacy Dispenser to join our friendly and supportive team on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced dispenser who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

As a Pharmacy Dispenser, you will play an important role in the day-to-day running of the pharmacy, including:

Dispensing and labelling prescriptions accurately
Assembling prescribed items
Selling over-the-counter medicines and healthcare products
Providing advice and information on symptoms, medicines, and healthcare products
Ordering, receiving, and storing pharmaceutical stock
Maintaining stock levels and carrying out date checks
Promoting NHS and private pharmacy services
Supporting the supply and management of pharmaceutical stock
Delivering excellent customer service and patient care at all times

Essential Requirements

Minimum 2 year's experience working in a pharmacy dispensary
Level 2 Pharmacy Dispensing Qualification (NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent)
Strong communication and organisational skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work effectively within a team and in a busy environment
Friendly, professional, and approachable manner
Commitment to delivering outstanding patient care
