Role Purpose
To provide operational support to national engineers, warehouse, and office functions by assisting with deliveries, on-site activities, maintenance tasks, and general operational duties, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the business across the UK.
Scope of Role
· Internal Relationships: Engineers, Warehouse Team, Office Staff, Management Team
· External Relationships: Clients and site contacts across the UK, delivery providers, suppliers
· Geographical Scope: Billingshurst based with national UK travel (including overnight stays)
· Budgetary Responsibility: None
Key Responsibilities
Operational Support
· Deliver stock and equipment to national engineers across the UK (Maintaining a clean and current driving licence is mandatory for this role). Experience with inner city driving in larger spec vehicles would be an advantage.
· Act as second operative supporting Lead Engineers on-site as required.
· Undertake TV swaps and assist with on-site installations and carrying equipment.
· Work flexibly to support operational requirements, including overtime and weekend work when necessary.
· Preparation of TV and ancillary equipment as required.
Warehouse & Logistics
· Support warehouse operations including loading, unloading, and assisting with deliveries.
· Ensure safe handling and transportation of stock and equipment.
· Maintain organisation and cleanliness within the warehouse environment.
Office & Facilities Support
· Replenish office supplies as required.
· Carry out general office maintenance tasks including painting, lighting replacement, sweeping, and minor repairs.
· Undertake duties as instructed to support business needs.
Health, Safety & Compliance
· Adhere to Health & Safety regulations at all times.
· Comply with company policies and procedures.
Person Specification
Essential Skills
· Full UK driving licence (maximum 3 penalty points).
· Willingness to travel nationally and stay away from home when required.
· Good level of physical fitness and stamina.
· Hands-on practical ability with strong problem-solving skills.
· Positive, can-do attitude with willingness to learn and develop.
· Basic IT skills and willingness to learn new systems.
· Interest in technology.
· Excellent communication skills with a professional manner.
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
· Eligible to work in the UK.
· Good standard of spoken English.
Desirable Skills
· Previous experience in a similar operational, warehouse, or site-based role.
· Basic understanding of Health & Safety practices.

Qualifications & Experience
· No formal qualifications required.
· Previous experience in a hands-on, warehouse, logistics, or field-support role desirable.
