Full job description

At Skylight Transport, we are extremely passionate about what we do. We are a growing logistics company that provides contracted courier delivery services. We partner with national distribution companies supporting their dispatch process from collection to delivery.

It is a Self - Employed Job. A fantastic competitive day rate with fuel allowance and weekly pay. No previous experience required, full paid training offered. Van rental available, van owners welcome.

Daily Rate

Standard Van Route - £165.00 + 20% VAT = £198.00
Large Van Route - £185 + 20% VAT = £ 222.00
Performance Bonus - £8.50 Daily (*Only for Fantastic Performance as a team)

Benefits for Delivery Driver

Fuel Refund per delivery mileage
Phone bill support (£1.80/day)
Weekly payment
Training paid at £127.50 per day, 3 days training offered

Qualifications

Must be self employed
Independent problem solver with good communication skills in English
Full and valid UK or EU Manual Driving License (max 6 points, NO active DR or TT codes)
Must pass a criminal background check
We also accept owner drivers, but they must have courier insurance together with Goods in Transit (25k) and Public liability (5 Million).

Responsibilties for Delivery Driver

Safely and efficiently transport goods and products to designated locations
Load and unload delivery vehicles
Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
Inspect and maintain delivery vehicles to ensure they are in proper working order
Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the delivery vehicle
