Overview

Embark on an exciting journey as a Procurement & Supply Assistant Apprentice (Level 3), where you will gain hands-on experience in managing procurement processes and supporting supply chain operations. This paid apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to develop essential skills in logistics, negotiation, and ERP systems while contributing to the efficiency of our procurement activities. You will work closely with experienced professionals, learning how to streamline purchasing procedures and ensure the smooth flow of goods and services across the organisation. We are now seeking for a Procurement & Supply Apprentice (Level 3) to join our team in Huntington, York. This apprenticeship is designed for employees who work within a procurement and supply chain function and want to develop their confidence and competence.

Responsibilities

Assist in raising and processing purchase orders and managing procurement documentation
Obtain supplier quotations and support low-value sourcing activities.
Monitor orders and resolve delivery or invoice queries.
Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier information.
Build effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Assist with market research, spend analysis, and procurement reporting.
Support contract administration and procurement exercises.
Ensure procurement activities comply with organisational policies and relevant legislation.
Contribute to continuous improvement within the procurement function.

Skills

Good communication and organisational skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to learn and complete the Level 3 apprenticeship.
