As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.
You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.
General Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and patients to the practice
- Manage appointment bookings and diary scheduling
- Handle telephone and email enquiries professionally
- Process payments and maintain accurate records
- Support the veterinary and nursing teams with day-to-day practice operations
- Deliver exceptional customer service at every stage of the client journey
Working Pattern
- Opportunity to work as one full-time position or two part-time positions
- 1 in 4 Saturday mornings, 8:30am–12:00pm
- No out-of-hours commitments
- Flexibility to provide holiday and sickness cover when required
You are a friendly, organised and customer-focused individual who enjoys working as part of a team. You’ll bring:

- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

- Previous veterinary practice experience would be beneficial but is not essential
