Overview
We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Night Shift Food Production Operatives / Assistants to join our dynamic team. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth and efficient production of food items during the night hours. You will be responsible for assisting in food production processes, maintaining hygiene standards, and supporting the overall operation during your shift.
Duties
- Assist with the preparation and assembly of food products in accordance with company standards and safety regulations
- Ensure all food safety protocols are followed, including HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) procedures
- Operate basic mechanical equipment used in food production safely and effectively
- Conduct quality checks on products to ensure freshness, appearance, and adherence to specifications
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and utensils to uphold hygiene standards
- Support inventory management by recording production quantities and reporting shortages or issues
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently, including proper handling of raw ingredients and waste disposal
Qualifications
- Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety regulations
- Experience in food production or manufacturing environments is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Basic mechanical knowledge to operate simple machinery and equipment safely
- Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and recording data accurately
- Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
Shift- Sunday- Friday x4 10 hour shifts (4pm-2am) or (6pm-4am)
