Salary/Benefits: £31,378.97 salary + estimated £4,500 service charge

Hours: Full Time

Shift pattern: Monday - Friday + Call out

Aim of the Maintenance Assistant role

To assist the Maintenance Manager on a day to day basis to assist with the high standards of maintenance within the hotel

Maintenance Assistant – About you

Experience in hotel maintenance is desirable
Experience with painting and decorating
Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively
Exceptional attention to detail and pride in maintaining the highest standards
A positive attitude and commitment to maintaining exceptional standards

Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Assistant role

Take ownership in responding to emergency calls for maintenance from all departments.
Be confident in ensuring all priority maintenance jobs are completed
To show team work and flexibility in being able to respond to changes in job priorities at short notice.
To be confident in ensuring that all appliances, fixtures and fittings are safe and work in accordance with Health Safety regulations and report any faults to the Maintenance Manager
To be on call on a rota basis if required
All staff should be confident in understanding and executing the company's policies and procedures with respect to privacy, confidentiality and data protection.
