Proven supplier management experience within an IT Service Desk, Managed Services, or enterprise IT environment.
A strong understanding of ITIL Service Management principles, with the ability to apply best practices to real-world operational challenges.
Experience managing SLAs, KPIs, supplier scorecards, and service reporting, using performance data to identify risks and opportunities.
️ Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage, influence, and build relationships at all levels.
Strong negotiation and conflict resolution abilities, able to manage escalations and drive positive outcomes.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for trends, performance gaps, and continuous improvement opportunities.
The ability to influence and motivate suppliers to achieve results, even without direct management responsibility.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel, Word, and Outlook, with confidence using reporting and collaboration tools.
ITIL Foundation certification (or higher)
Experience working within an MSP or large-scale enterprise IT environment
Knowledge of supplier contracts and commercial management
Experience using FreshService or other IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms
Highly organised and detail-focused
Customer-centric and proactive in your approach

This is a highly collaborative role where you'll work closely with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to improve performance, resolve challenges, and drive continuous improvement.
Building strong supplier relationships – acting as the key contact for subcontractors and fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
Driving performance excellence – monitoring SLAs, KPIs, and service quality metrics to ensure suppliers consistently meet expectations.
Leading operational success – coordinating supplier involvement in incidents, major service outages, and day-to-day Service Desk activities.
Maximising commercial value – supporting contract management, validating invoicing, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Championing governance and compliance – ensuring suppliers meet security, regulatory, and organisational requirements.
Delivering continuous improvement – spotting opportunities for automation, efficiency, and service enhancements that elevate the customer experience.
