We are an aerospace engineering organisation focused on uncrewed aircraft systems. As our manufacturing operation grows, we are expanding our mechanical assembly team to support the build of aircraft and subsystems.
Overview
We’re recruiting to support the preparation, build and finishing of our aircraft and sub-assemblies.
These are hands-on, practical roles suited to people who enjoy working with tools, traditional and modern materials and processes in a workshop or factory environment.
Roles will be aligned to skills and experience and may include:
- Aircraft and wing assembly
- CNC machine operation
- Laser cutting / laser operation
- Composite lay-up and lamination
- Paint preparation and finishing
- Packaging, kitting and dispatch
- Warehouse picking and parts handling
What You’ll Do
- Assemble aircraft parts and sub-assemblies following work instructions
- Operate machinery or equipment
- Carry out composite, mechanical or finishing tasks
- Support packing, kitting and dispatch of completed items
- Follow quality, safety and cleanliness standards at all times
- Work as part of a small, close-knit production team
- Help keep the workshop organised, safe and efficient
- Flag issues, defects or improvements to supervisors
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Experience or keen interest in working with a variety of traditional and modern materials
- Experience of assembly, manufacturing, workshop or production environments
- Comfortable using hand tools, measuring equipment or machinery
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious
- Willingness to learn new skills and move between tasks as needed
- Comfortable working in a small, fast-moving operation
Nice to Have:
- CNC or laser machine experience
- Composite or paint shop experience
- Aerospace, automotive, marine or defence background
