Full job description

Product Pricing and Data Coordinator

Chelford Farm Supplies is looking for a Product Buying and Data Coordinator to support our purchasing team while maintaining accurate and reliable product data. This role combines buying support with data management, ensuring product information, pricing, and supplier details are kept up to date and consistent across our systems, while also supporting the introduction of new product listings.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Maintain and update product records in the system (for example, SAP Business One)
Create new products in both the in-house MRP system and on the company website
Ensure all product data is complete, accurate, and consistent
Enter new product information, including:

· Descriptions

· Supplier details

· Pricing and cost

· Units of measure

· Barcodes and product codes

Review and clean up existing data to fix errors or duplicates
Work with suppliers and internal teams (Purchasing, Sales, and Warehouse) to gather accurate information
Manage price updates and ensure they are applied correctly
Support product uploads and data imports
Check data before it goes live to avoid errors affecting orders or reporting
Assist with reporting and data checks when needed
Follow company processes for data entry and updates

Skills and Experience

Essential

· Strong attention to detail (critical for this role)

· Comfortable working with systems and spreadsheets

· Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including the use of VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, data validation, filtering and sorting

· Basic understanding of purchasing, stock, or product setup

· Strong organisational skills

· Ability to identify and resolve errors quickly

· Good communication skills and ability to work across departments

· Good commercial awareness

Desirable

· Experience with ERP systems such as SAP Business One

· Experience with Magento and/or Akeneo
