About the Role
Are you a passionate culinary leader who thrives on creating exceptional food experiences? Sodexo is looking for a Chef Manager to lead our catering and hospitality service in Sudbury. You’ll be at the heart of delivering outstanding meals, motivating a talented team, and ensuring every guest leaves impressed. Experience with stock control, GP, ordering, KPIs, and audits is a bonus.
What you'll do:

Lead the catering team to deliver high-quality food, exceptional service, and strong profitability.

Oversee daily operations, including health & safety, compliance, facilities, and staff engagement.

Be the main contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring smooth, seamless service.

Drive innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Ensure compliance with food safety, allergen management, hygiene, COSHH, fire, and statutory regulations.

Manage audits, inspections, budgets, food costs, and labour efficiently.

Plan menus, promotions, rotas, and finances for flawless service.

Prepare, cook, and oversee food service across all catering and hospitality areas.

Inspire your team through coaching, motivation, and leadership.

Uphold the Sodexo brand and exceed guest expectations.

Deliver sales, food costs, and GP targets while applying best practices.
