Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Traffic Marshall to oversee vehicle and pedestrian movement on-site. The successful candidate will ensure safety, manage traffic flow, and facilitate efficient site operations. This role is vital in maintaining a secure environment for all personnel and visitors, requiring excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to management and maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

Direct vehicles and pedestrians to designated areas, ensuring smooth and safe traffic flow.
Monitor entry and exit points, verifying authorised access in accordance with site protocols.
Maintain clear communication with drivers, visitors, and site personnel to coordinate movements effectively.
Assist with basic maintenance of traffic control equipment such as barriers, signage, and lighting.
Manage the organisation of vehicle parking areas to optimise space utilisation.
Report any safety hazards or incidents promptly to the relevant authorities.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.

Experience

Proven management skills in overseeing traffic or site operations.
Experience in basic maintenance tasks related to traffic control equipment is advantageous.
Valid driving licence with clean driving record preferred.
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with diverse teams and visitors.
Previous experience working in construction sites, industrial environments, or similar settings is desirable but not essential. This role offers an engaging opportunity for individuals committed to safety and operational efficiency within busy work environments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate organisational ability, proactive management skills, and excellent communication capabilities to ensure the smooth running of site activities.
