We are seeking a Optical Coating Engineer at degree level or equivalent, to work within the coating department team. This position has the overall responsibility of performing UV-VIS-IR Optical Coatings and operating and maintaining the coating machines in a clean room environment.
Qualifications: A strong background in physics, mathematics, computers, control and instrumentation is desirable. Duties will include coating design, machine preparation, parts cleaning, and coating runs. A degree or equivalent experience in Physics, Materials Science or Engineering is required. Previous experience with vacuum deposition techniques, thin film modelling would be advantageous.
