About Us
Propcare Building & Maintenance Ltd provides high-quality property maintenance, repairs and refurbishment services to residential landlords, homeowners, estate agents and supported living providers across Hampshire and Berkshire.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced, reliable and hardworking Handyman / Multi-Trade Operative to join our friendly team.
The Role
This is a varied, hands-on position where no two days are the same. You'll be working across a range of residential properties, carrying out maintenance, repairs and small refurbishment projects to a high standard.
You'll be trusted to work independently, represent our company professionally and provide excellent customer service at every property you visit.
Key Responsibilities
- General property maintenance and repairs
- Basic plumbing repairs and installations
- Carpentry and joinery repairs
- Painting, decorating and making good
- Fencing repairs and general external maintenance
- Garden maintenance and clearance where required
- Minor tiling, silicone replacement and patch repairs
- Changing locks, handles and other ironmongery
- Supervising and assisting small teams on larger projects
- Maintaining company tools, equipment and vehicles in a clean and organised condition
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with Health & Safety regulations
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a handyman, maintenance or multi-trade role
- Good all-round practical skills across multiple trades
- Ability to diagnose problems and find practical solutions
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing quality workmanship
- Reliable, trustworthy and self-motivated
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
