Launch Your Career in Technology
Visualization is experiencing significant growth and we're looking for 6 ambitious individuals to join the next intake of our highly successful Digital Applications Technician (DAT) Development Programme in August/September 2026.
This is far more than a trainee role.
Over a structured 24-month development programme, you'll gain hands-on experience across professional Audio Visual (AV), LED display technology, technical services, installation, commissioning and system integration, building the skills required for a long-term career in a rapidly growing technology sector.
Many of our senior engineers started their careers through this programme and have progressed into specialist and leadership positions within the business.
What You'll Learn
As a DAT, you'll receive structured training and practical experience in:
- AV Installation & Integration

- Commissioning & Testing
- Service & Maintenance
- Technical Fault Finding
- Warehouse & Logistics Operations
- Health & Safety Best Practice
- Customer Service & Professional Communication
Initially, you'll be based from our Maidenhead facility learning the fundamentals of the industry. As your confidence and capability develop, you'll progress onto customer sites throughout the UK and potentially internationally as part of the wider VUE AV Group.

We're not looking exclusively for people with AV experience.
This opportunity could be ideal for:
- Electrical installation trainees
- IT support technicians

Technical aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn are far more important than previous AV experience.
