Role Background
Working within our Adult and Older Adult portfolio and due to growth in services, were now appointing for a secondary Service Coordinator to support our delivery of the Enhanced Access, WISHH and CORE services. Working closely with the Service Manager and the existing Service Coordinator the postholder will help to ensure services are delivered effectively, meeting the needs of adults and older adults across the district.
The role focuses on coordinating day-to-day service delivery, supporting staff, and maintaining high standards of care, accessibility, and performance. By working collaboratively with colleagues and partners, the Service Coordinator enables teams to continue providing timely, person-centred mental health support and improving outcomes for local communities.
Role Purpose
This post plays a vital role in providing dedicated support to our Service Manager and frontline practitioners within the Enhanced Access, WISHH and CORE services.
The services you will work within span both early intervention and ongoing support and include working alongside a number of our partner organisations across the Bradford District and Craven.
Your key responsibilities will include supporting staff, ensuring the smooth running of shifts, adherence to standard operating procedures, initially supporting incidents and safeguarding queries, and assisting the Service Manager in data collection and auditing processes.
By prioritising the needs of both our dedicated practitioners and the people we serve, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality, safe, and effective support to enhance the well-being of people who use our services and the local community.

Ensuring the service operates efficiently, supporting the Service Manager in delivering high quality care that meets operational goals

Maintain a safe and supportive environment by ensuring timely identification, reporting and response to safeguarding concerns, while actively engaging with multi-agency partners
- Ensuring accurate and timely collection and reporting of service data, supporting informed decision-making and continuous improvement as well as ensuring adherence to data protection regulations and best practices
- Oversee staff scheduling and rota management to ensure seamless delivery, effectively managing absences and annual leave to minimise disruption
- Supporting the Service Manager to lead your team in alignment with our mission, objectives, policies and core values: Caring Always, Working Together, Supporting Everyone, Enabling All and Continually Improving
- Ensure service members are supported by delivering direct sessions when needed and helping to maintain staff cover for shifts to meet service demands.

Support the on-call rota to ensure all staff have access to support and guidance out of hours
- Actively engage in supervision, team meetings and company events to contribute to a well-connected, informed and supportive team environment
- Successfully complete all mandatory and role-specific training to ensure best practices in safeguarding, data protection, health and safety and mental health awareness
- Adapt to evolving organisational needs by taking on additional responsibilities as required, ensuring a cohesive and effective team approach

Qualifications
Essential:

Level 3 or above qualification in a relevant field OR at least 2 years relevant experience
Experience
Essential:

Experience and confidence in recognising and responding to risk and safeguarding concerns for adults or children & young people

Experience mentoring/coaching others, or supporting a team

Experience working with children, young people and/or adults in a health, social care or other relevant setting
- Experience working in a multi-agency way
Desirable:
- Using System1 for day-to-day operational responsibilities.
Skills and Abilities

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Excellent IT skills and computer literacy, including skills in using Microsoft applications and electronic client record systems
